TURTLE TRACKS
"ARIZONA JONES' TRACKS"
Arizona Jones is an adult female Eastern Box Turtle. She was found in July 2009 by Alie, a guest of Earthshine who found her near the High Ropes course.
Allie, in green, found Arizona Jones while we were searching for Catherine, whom all the children are holding.
Later that day the children helped me attach a radio transmitter to AJ's shell.
The next day Arizona Jones was released in the exact spot where Alie found her.
UPDATE: AJ has been retired and released into her home range without a transmitter. Read more about it on her last tracking day report by clicking her photo below.
AJ's stats are as follows:

Location: Earthshine Mountain Lodge
Weight: 450g
Maximum Carapace Length: 123.5mm
Total Plastron Length: 120mm
Age: 22+ years old.
Habitat where AJ was found: on trail in mixed hardwood forest approx. 50 feet from grassy field.
